Human Rights

NYC Commission on Human Rights

Even in a city as tolerant and diverse as New York, basic human rights are trampled upon every day. In response to a rise in reports of hate crimes and discrimination, we worked with the City of New York to create a campaign affirming New Yorkers’ right to live, work and pray without facing discrimination.

Through a series of powerful, diverse portraits, we are able to highlight distinct instances where bias may arise, and encourage victims to report incidents to the NYC Commission on Human Rights.

It’s imperative that citizens know their rights, and know that they do have the right to live and work safely and free from discrimination in their own city.
