Hope: It’s a New York Thing

New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene (DOHMH)

One year after Hurricane Sandy, many New Yorkers still find themselves in emotional distress. Through this optimistic campaign, DCF Advertising reminded them that hope is, in fact, a New York thing. We worked with NYC Health to inform those enduring stress that recovery can be a long process and help is readily available through Project Hope. This extensive outreach campaign included print ads for subway and newspaper, posters, web banners, email blasts and a palm card. We thoroughly casted to accurately portray the diversity and character of New York. An animated video was also created for YouTube, raising mental health awareness through a visual representation of how hope and solidarity are part of our city’s framework.
